About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team at Opus Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-based infrastructure on AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud migration strategies to ensure seamless transition of infrastructure to AWS
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform to ensure consistency and reproducibility
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline to automate application deployments
  • Utilize AWS services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, and IAM to ensure high availability and scalability of systems
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices around security, compliance, testing, monitoring, and automation
Requirements
  • Proven experience with AWS infrastructure and services
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
  • Strong Linux and scripting skills
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting
  • Ability to identify and remediate security issues
Desirable Skills
  • Containerization skills (Docker, ECS)
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization
