Position Summary:
We are currently in search of a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to become a vital part of our dedicated team. This full-time position will focus on delivering high-quality service and maintenance in a professional environment.
The successful candidate will possess a wealth of experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing various air conditioning systems, along with the ability to install new systems as required.
Key Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive servicing, maintenance, and repairs on diverse air conditioning units.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implementing effective repair strategies.
- Execute installations of air conditioning systems as necessary.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, ensuring equipment is clean and functioning optimally.
- Oversee and manage filter replacement schedules.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance service delivery.
- Engage with clients to assess their needs and provide customized solutions.
- Maintain thorough documentation for all service activities, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in air conditioning engineering with strong references.
- Comprehensive knowledge of air conditioning systems, including servicing, maintenance, and installation.
- Experience with service checking is desirable, though training is available for suitable candidates.
- F-Gas Certification (City and Guilds 2079) is mandatory.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of professional communication with clients and management.
- Physical fitness and adaptability to various working environments.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, refrigeration, and electrical components.
- Experience with Safety Culture software is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
