Are you a seasoned risk management professional looking to shape the future of HSBC UK's capital risk framework? We're seeking an experienced individual to join our Global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team as an Operational and Resilience Risk Manager, Capital, Behaviours and Framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk policies related to capital adequacy, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal risk appetite.
  • Collaborate with finance, treasury, risk management, and other key stakeholders to support informed decision-making and risk governance.
  • Establish and maintain capital risk policies, procedures, and standards that guide capital management behaviours across HSBC.
  • Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) related to capital management and provide regular reports to senior leadership and the HSBC UK Board.
  • Analyse scenario assessments and stress test results, developing recommendations for mitigating risks identified through these exercises.
Requirements:
  • In-depth understanding of capital risk management principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and financial modelling tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
About the Role:
