About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director to join our HVDC Engineering Team as an Engineering Interface Manager. This is a key role in the delivery of our HVDC projects, and we are looking for a candidate with strong multi-discipline engineering and project management experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage design interfaces between HVDC, AC, civils, and cables contracts
  • Drive the smooth exchange of design information between interfacing projects
  • Direct line management responsibilities of project interface engineers
  • Coordinate all engineering activities, including the selection and management of engineering consultants
  • Ensure project technical requirements are clearly communicated to project teams
  • Promote and manage safety within project portfolio
Requirements
  • Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline (preferably CEng)
  • Significant experience leading multi-discipline teams
  • Good technical knowledge of the Transmission network
  • Good relationships and understanding of consultants and external industry experts
