Job Title: Learning Disabilities Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team in Radyr. As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will provide therapeutic care and support to adults with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.

About the Role:

  • Provide individualized support to adults with learning disabilities to enable them to lead a more independent life.
  • Assist residents through a care pathway to help them live as independently as possible.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of multi-professionals to provide comprehensive support.
  • Monitor and record patient conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months experience of working within a social care setting.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Must be able to work full-time hours over 30 hours per week.
  • Must hold a driver's license.
