About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Planning Advisor to join our Site, Facilities & Infrastructure People Capability Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the full lifecycle of people capability, including workforce planning, development, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Subject Matter Experts to develop and maintain the Functional Long-Term Skills Analysis and Workforce Plan (LTSAWP) and associated supply solutions.
  • Collate, manage, report, and monitor LTSAWP actions to ensure people capability risks are understood and mitigations are being progressed.
  • Support the development of plans to deliver future functional technical SQEP in line with programme demands and transformational change.
  • Collate and analyze data to understand functional capability health, developing plans to address any issues or risks in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts.
  • Develop and maintain functional career frameworks and role profiles to enable capability development.
  • Maintain and update the early careers functional placement framework, supporting Subject Matter Experts in the management of placements and exit roles in line with business requirements.
  • Develop approaches for STEM/Work Experience/Open Days and Science Week planning and activities.
Requirements
  • Experience in a people management role.
  • Strong analytical skills, including data/analytics/reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Packages (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven communication and negotiation skills.
  • Desirable: Understanding of workforce planning and resource management, experience and understanding of the lifecycle of projects.
