We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Associate to join our team at the Wellcome Sanger Institute. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for performing advanced research and development activities to support our mission to understand the genomics of cell populations at single-cell resolution.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute complex experimental protocols to optimize the production of organoids from human-induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPS cells)
- Develop and implement new methods for integrating pre-existing protocols, data from the literature, and predictions generated by the dry team
- Collaborate with lead scientists to establish targets and develop strategies for achieving them
- Organize and carry out complex experimental work independently, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Work closely with other members of the team and members of the Cellular Operations facilities to ensure seamless collaboration and communication
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in molecular biology, cell culture, and experimental design. You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A particular interest in hematopoietic development is essential.
