About the Position:

We are in search of a Senior Frontend Engineer eager to enhance the home buying experience. In this role, you will collaborate closely with fellow frontend developers and cross-functional teams to create a seamless and engaging user interface for Acre. We value motivation, adaptability to various technologies, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Our team prioritizes user-centered design, and you will contribute to building a distinctive and aesthetically pleasing system that stands out in the market.

Your Responsibilities:

As a vital member of the engineering team, you will be tasked with designing, implementing, and testing the user interface that enables consumers, brokers, and operational teams to effectively navigate the mortgage research and application process.

Your role will involve writing reusable, testable, and efficient code that delivers a smooth and visually appealing user experience.

Throughout the software development lifecycle, you will engage with the business as a whole, translating business needs into development tasks while also mentoring junior team members.

You should possess ambition tempered with pragmatism.

Moreover, as a Senior Frontend Developer, you will help foster and uphold software engineering best practices and a culture of excellence within the Frontend Development team.

Who You Are:

  • Passionate about software development and dedicated to delivering a high-quality product.
  • Enjoy creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that enhance user satisfaction.
  • Possess a strong understanding and experience with client-side JavaScript (Typescript), React, GraphQL, Apollo, as well as CSS and HTML.
  • Committed to utilizing automated testing frameworks and unit tests to produce clear, maintainable code.
  • Proficient in issue tracking, code versioning, and continuous integration and deployment tools.
