About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Client Funds team at GB - Global. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cash management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve aged unallocated cash discrepancies
  • Review and reconcile existing commentary to ensure accurate account coding
  • Assist account handlers with policies and procedures
  • Resolve transactional discrepancies between GB - Global and external clients
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and root cause analysis
  • Escalate complex issues to senior management
  • Contribute to the production of daily and weekly reporting to senior management
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of finance experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Prior experience in financial services is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
