We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Client Funds team at GB - Global. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cash management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and resolve aged unallocated cash discrepancies
- Review and reconcile existing commentary to ensure accurate account coding
- Assist account handlers with policies and procedures
- Resolve transactional discrepancies between GB - Global and external clients
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and root cause analysis
- Escalate complex issues to senior management
- Contribute to the production of daily and weekly reporting to senior management
- Minimum 6 months of finance experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience in financial services is preferred but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- MS Office proficiency
- Eligibility to work in the UK
