Learning Support Assistant

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional learning needs, ensuring they have the necessary tools to succeed academically and personally.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide individualized support to students with learning difficulties, helping them to manage their workload and organization skills.
* Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective support plans, ensuring students receive the necessary accommodations to thrive.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting students' confidence and independence in their academic pursuits.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and staff, ensuring open communication and a supportive network.

**Requirements**

* Experience working with older students with learning needs, preferably in a secondary school setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff.
* A clear DBS check, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.
