We are currently representing a remarkable, family-run veterinary clinic situated in a serene area of South Liverpool, surrounded by lush parks and local dining options.
The clinic has recently undergone a comprehensive renovation, expanding into adjacent premises to enhance patient care with tailored waiting areas and wards for both cats and dogs.
Comfortable staff relaxation spaces were also prioritized in the design, fostering an environment where team members can excel.
The clinic actively encourages professional development and supports various interests, with visiting specialists available for ultrasonography, cardiology, orthopaedics, and soft-tissue surgery, ensuring a diverse case load for those with specific interests or expertise.
Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is essential, with scheduled breaks throughout the day to allow time for reflection on cases, discussions on challenging topics, or simply enjoying a moment of relaxation with colleagues.
The team holds regular well-being meetings to ensure that everyone receives the necessary support to maintain a positive work-life balance.
You will be part of a dedicated and close-knit team consisting of 4 veterinarians, 5 registered veterinary nurses, along with leadership and administrative staff, all committed to environmentally sustainable practices and achieving Green status with IIE.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible 3 or 4-day work week
- 1:4 Saturday morning shifts from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM
- No out-of-hours duties
Compensation Package:
- Attractive salary up to £65,000 based on experience
- 6.6 weeks of annual leave, including bank holidays (pro rata)
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) allowance: 3 days and £1500 per year - negotiable and support for certification.
