Teaching and Learning Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our team at Vision Teaching. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils in our Lewisham-based school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and teach your own lessons, covering a range of subjects and age groups.
  • Deploy across the school to cover classes, providing support to teachers and pupils.
  • Utilize your organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Draw upon your knowledge of the National Curriculum to inform your teaching practices.
  • Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
  • Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development in pupils.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience of teaching in EYFS, KS1, KS2.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Desirable: Experience teaching classes within a primary school.
