Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Walsh Employment Ltd. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing a range of public and private sector projects, with a focus on drainage and infrastructure.

About the Role:
  • Lead and manage projects from concept design to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies, including feasibility design options and preliminary costings.
  • Collaborate with clients and design teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs.
  • Prepare and manage production information for the construction stage, ensuring that construction meets the required standards.
  • Provide structural surveys and reports, as well as project management roles as required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop scheme solutions from concept design using Civils3D, Site3D, and InfoDrainage.
  • Engage with ISO 19650 activities and deliverables, including the Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Contribute to the production of BIM documentation, including BEP, TIDP templates, and Detailed Responsibility Matrix (DRM).
  • Produce final construction issue design models in IFC and native file formats.
  • Implement pre-feasibility stage work regarding geotechnical, topographical, CCTV, drainage, dilapidation, structural, and other specialist surveys.
