JOB PURPOSE
We are in search of a proactive Head of Business Finance to become an integral part of our team. This pivotal role is essential for enhancing financial performance and aligning with the company's strategic goals through proficient financial oversight and informed decision-making.
The Head of Business Finance will be responsible for managing the financial dimensions of the company's operations. This includes optimizing data organization and systems, strategic planning, financial analysis, and decision-making aimed at driving profitability and supporting growth initiatives.
This position is ideal for individuals seeking to advance into a leadership role, possessing management experience and a robust finance background.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Organization: Establish a data-driven environment to facilitate informed business decisions, enhancing systems and analytics while creating dashboards that promote a culture of data-centric decision-making.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop and oversee comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts across all brands, markets, and operations, providing insights through financial data analysis.
- Commercial Strategy Development: Collaborate with business teams to formulate strategies that optimize revenue and profitability, including pricing strategies and product profitability assessments.
- Financial Analytics & Reporting: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial analytics and reporting, preparing financial statements and variance analyses, and presenting performance metrics to senior management.
- Business Partnering: Serve as a financial advisor and collaborator with the COO and stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with commercial activities through strategic implementation.
- Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of business activities, tracking sales, profits, and stock performance.
- Financial Forecast Modelling: Develop key financial models to assess new opportunities, including new markets and brands.
- System & Process Improvement: Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT to enhance systems analytics, design automated dashboards, and review data processes as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
