We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Delay Consultant to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our specialist claims and disputes division, you will work closely with our clients to provide expert advice on delay analysis and claims management.
Key Responsibilities:- Support senior staff on projects requiring planning and delay analysis expertise.
- Conduct live planning work and handle delay claims on live projects.
- Support expert witnesses in arbitration and litigation proceedings.
- Analyse project and major programme performance to identify root causes of distress.
- Support colleagues with project deliverables.
- Advise clients on problematic projects, including dispute avoidance tactics and alternative resolution techniques.
- Act as an ambassador for our consultancy in the industry.
- Degree-level education in a construction-related field or similar equivalent qualification.
- Experience in managing programmes, using planning software, and delay analysis techniques.
- Exposure to carrying out delay analysis on formal disputes such as adjudication, arbitration, or litigation is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong working knowledge of common planning software such as Primavera, Asta PowerProject, TILOS, CEMAR, and Excel.
- Competitive salary in the region of £60k (DOE).
