Job Title: Infrastructure Analyst / 3rd Line Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Analyst / 3rd Line Support Engineer to join our team at Comtecs Ltd. As a key member of our Wintel Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing 3rd line support for our global infrastructure landscape, focusing on Active Directory, AzureAD (Entra), and other related core services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, operate, and support all core infrastructure, including domain controllers, Active Directory, AzureAD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Provide global support for Azure hosted services and their integration with all applications across the estate, including Conditional Access Policies, Role & Group Management, and Entra Connect/Authenticator.
  • Manage and automate tasks related to core infrastructure services in both on-prem and Azure cloud scenarios using Powershell scripting.
  • Manage all tickets via ServiceNow within a strict ITIL environment with well-established change management practices.
  • Liaise with various teams, including Network, InfoSec/CyberSec, Application, 3rd Party vendors, and internal business teams.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience, skills, and understanding of domain controllers, including AD/GPo/AzureAD (Entra).
  • 3rd Line Support Engineering Tasks within ITIL environments dealing with issues arising from a global Wintel Infrastructure landscape, with a focus on Active Directory.
  • Solid understanding and experience with AzureAD (Entra) from an engineering and problem identification and resolution perspective.
  • Full capability of writing, managing, editing, and utilizing Powershell scripts for the management of domain controllers and related technologies, as well as automation in both on-prem and Azure cloud environments.
  • Ability to work within a small team and adapt to a global professional services environment, communicating with multiple teams in both technical and business environments.
