About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team at Fawkes & Reece South. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including long-term, mid-term, and short-term programming of works.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Assistant Site Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Review and approve method statements and risk assessments (RAMS) to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Organize and coordinate deliveries of materials, logistics, waste management, and other site-based activities.
  • Ensure quality control, inspections, and test plans are implemented and completed to the required standards.

Fawkes & Reece South is a busy regional office of a larger main contractor group with a proven track record in delivering medium-sized new build and refurbishment schemes. We are committed to providing excellent service to our clients and are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our team.

Requirements
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications.
  • Strong planning and problem-solving ability, with a positive approach to delivering projects on spec, budget, and programme.
  • Excellent technical, organizational, man-management, and communication skills.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management would be advantageous, but not essential based on experience.
