Job Opportunity for Principal Psychologist

An exceptional hospital in the Hale, Manchester area is seeking a highly skilled Principal Psychologist to join their team. As a leading healthcare provider, they offer a dynamic and supportive work environment.

The hospital has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care and services, including residential facilities, day care, and outpatient services. The successful candidate will be working with a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist clinical duties, including assessment and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specialist clinical assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Provide psychological therapies for patients with personality disorders, mental health issues, and intellectual disabilities.
  • Administer and interpret complex psychological assessments to inform treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in a forensic setting and/or rehabilitation environment.
  • Skills in individual and group work, program planning, and complex psychological assessment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £57,000 - £68,000 per annum.
