About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team at Adobe. As a key member of our Platform Engineering team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our Spectrum design system's Platform Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex systems using web standards and best practices
• Collaborate with designers to convert designs into code
• Participate in the overall Spectrum ecosystem to evolve both design and engineering
• Work closely with product teams to ensure Spectrum is available for consumers in a timely, stable, and scalable way

Requirements

• Deep experience around CSS architecture and practices
• Solid knowledge of the ecosystem, especially practices for npm package development, versioning, and publishing
• Experience working on a fast-paced, multi-person open source project
• A pragmatic, collaborative and open-minded outlook
