Team/Role Overview

DART stands as the premier risk data analytics reporting team at Citi. We employ cutting-edge technologies to assess risk for the largest profiles within the organization. Through visualizations and dashboards, we effectively communicate risk insights to senior stakeholders. Our analytics and reporting ensure that the bank maintains sufficient capital during challenging times. Our team comprises a diverse array of professionals with backgrounds in physics, engineering, finance, economics, and data science. You will collaborate with seasoned colleagues to enhance your analytical and quantitative capabilities. Your responsibilities will encompass developing analytical applications to address real-world challenges, paving your path toward becoming a risk management expert and leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate regular and time-sensitive analytics, visualizations, and reports for risk managers and senior leadership.
  • Distill and convey risk perspectives and metrics.
  • Analyze, implement, and automate underlying data flows and controls to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with risk managers, business units, and technology teams to design and develop analytical applications.
  • Engage in the application of operational risk policies, technologies, and governance processes to create sustainable solutions for minimizing losses from ineffective internal processes, insufficient controls, and emerging risks.
  • Assess the control environment by ensuring appropriate safeguards are established.
  • Assist in audits, examinations, and deliverable requirements from both internal and external reviewers by coordinating activities.
  • Ensure the completion of projects, special assignments, and other ad hoc tasks as necessary.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and/or team members.
  • Evaluate risk when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and transparently escalating, managing, and reporting control issues.
Qualifications
  • Proven relevant experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data, analytics, databases, and data quality. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of or interest in finance, markets, or risk management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment across diverse groups.
  • Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
