About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Town Planner to join their growing team in Royal Wootton Bassett. You will collaborate with a diverse clientele, including national housebuilders, land promoters handling major planning applications, and individual homeowners pursuing small-scale developments.
The role primarily focuses on residential projects or those with a strong residential component, making it ideal for someone with a proven track record in this area.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive planning advice and support to clients across various project scales.
- Prepare and submit planning applications, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of planning policies and procedures.
- Manage communication with local authorities and other stakeholders throughout the planning process.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic planning initiatives.
Your Profile
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Town Planning within either the private or public sector.
- A relevant degree in Planning or a closely related field.
- MRTPI status or nearing completion.
- A strong understanding of the UK planning system and its intricacies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
