About the Role

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our Civils & Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects to our clients in the Education, Housing, Commercial, and Industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in producing designs, managing the work of others, and enjoying a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for producing designs, managing projects, and working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver infrastructure projects to adoptable standards
  • Manage and lead flood risk and surface water separation projects from concept to construction
  • Develop and implement Natural Flood Management solutions
  • Work with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Manage and mentor junior team members
Requirements
  • Chartered status with the ICE or CIWEM, or working towards achieving chartership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with Civil 3D, Micro drainage, and InfoDrainage
  • Full UK Driving License
