Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support to consultants in surgical settings, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Assist with surgical procedures, including preparing equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing technical support as required.
- Work closely with the theatre team to ensure smooth and efficient operating theatre procedures.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre protocols and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Surgical First Assistant in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with consultants, nurses, and other theatre staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
