Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Supervisor to join our team at Red Recruitment Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the practical supervision of all 'day to day' coating application activities within the plant and assisting Production Supervisors with effective allocation of shop-floor labour resource to meet ongoing customer demand.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production operatives to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
- Assist Production Supervisors in allocating labour resources to meet customer demand and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Communicate with customers to understand their requirements and ensure that these are met through effective production planning and control.
- Work with Team Leaders and Production Operatives to identify and implement methods of work that improve operational efficiency and meet customer quality and 'turnaround' requirements.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of production operatives and ensure they meet appropriate standards and workmanship.
- Assist in the enforcement of company health and safety policies and promote a 'safe work culture' within the workplace.
- Provide support to team leaders as needed to ensure the smooth operation of production processes.
Personal Qualities
- Must be numerate, accurate, and confident in their ability to work under pressure and use their own initiative.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate politely and courteously with colleagues and customers.
Requirements
- Strong team management and leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and coordinating production activities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently, with a proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Bartending experience is advantageous, but not essential.
