Job Title: Experienced Home Support Manager Wanted

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Home Support Manager to join our dedicated care team at Greensleeves Care. As a key member of our team, you will provide practical and direct support to our home managers and homes, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Home in Absence of Manager: Provide temporary management support to our homes in the absence of the home manager.
  • Support Two Divisions: Maintain regional contact for each care home and provide support to two divisions.
  • Conduct Routine Head Office Visits: Conduct routine visits to our care homes as directed by our Divisional Directors.
  • Ensure Stimulated and Caring Environment: Oversee and ensure that a stimulated and caring environment is always maintained.
  • Oversee Medicine Administration: Ensure the effective delivery of the medicine administration process in line with our Management of Medicines Policy.
  • Ensure Staff Training: Ensure that attendance to both mandatory and required training courses is met, including that of staff members within a home.
  • Support Home Manager: Support the Home Manager to plan and facilitate regular staff meetings, staff supervision, and establish an effective communication system.
  • Provide Support and Assistance: Provide support and assistance to staff members and ensure that areas of responsibility are maintained and delegated duties are implemented.

Requirements:

  • RN 1 or 2 with Current NMC PIN: Possess a current NMC PIN and a valid RN 1 or 2 qualification.
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care: Hold a NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management for Care Services or equivalent.
  • Previous Experience: Have previous experience of working with a large multi-site care provider within a capacity of a high-level manager.
  • Excellent Knowledge: Possess excellent knowledge of the CQC standards.
  • Working Knowledge: Have a working knowledge of Legislation and the Regulatory Framework underpinning practice in relation to the care of older people.
  • Full Driving License: Possess a full driving license.
