We are seeking an experienced European Road Freight Clerk to join our team at Red Recruit, a leading recruitment agency specializing in freight and shipping. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods across Europe, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with customers and overseas agents to coordinate freight movements
  • Load planning and liaising with hauliers to ensure smooth transportation
  • Raising export documentation to enable trailers to transit UK Ports and Europe
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support

Requirements:

  • Experience within a freight forwarding environment essential
  • Comprehensive knowledge of customs procedures and principles
  • Experience with Sequoia software advantageous
