Position Overview

The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital is seeking to enhance its Clinical Governance framework and is looking for a dedicated professional to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Clinical Governance expert to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the clinical governance team in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to uphold CQC compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Governance and Matron to prepare for inspections and assessments.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient experience initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Attend governance meetings and provide updates on clinical governance activities.
  • Assist in the management of incident reporting and ensure timely investigations.
  • Review and disseminate regulatory alerts and required actions.
  • Ensure adherence to national regulations and guidelines.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and share best practices across teams.

Candidate Profile

  • Desirable registration with NMC or HCPC.
  • Proven track record in audit, risk management, and governance within a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in clinical standards auditing and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for relationship building with stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a team player.
