Join Our Team as HGV Class 2 Operators

TRC Yorkshire is seeking dedicated HGV Class 2 Operators to enhance our logistics team.


Working Hours:
You will be required to work 5 shifts within a 7-day period, covering Monday through Sunday.

Compensation:
Starting at £13 per hour after a 12-week period for night shifts.

Position Type:
This is an ongoing role with the potential for permanent employment for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute 1-3 deliveries per shift, with most shifts averaging 8 hours, though some routes may extend beyond this.
  • Transport palletized goods to various sub-depots and individual locations.
  • Utilize tail lift and pump truck equipment for efficient handling of pallets.
  • Ensure the safe and timely distribution of products.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics personnel to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Complete both theoretical and practical assessments to meet safety and operational standards, followed by a few days of paid training upon successful assessment.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driving license with Class 1 entitlement (Category C).
  • Current and valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Capability to operate tail lift and pump truck machinery.
  • Willingness to undergo a brief driving assessment for the role.
