Accounts Assistant Opportunity

Think Accountancy and Finance is collaborating with a rapidly expanding client to offer an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant. This role provides the chance to develop and grow alongside the business.

We are seeking a driven and self-motivated individual who is eager to succeed. Proficiency in Excel is a must, and knowledge of Xero/Sage is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the purchase ledger and handle sales ledger queries and debt chasing
  • Conduct billing and bank reconciliations, and perform daily bank reconciliations
  • Process bank transactions and oversee monthly expenses, payment runs, and invoice processing
  • Assist with other ad-hoc duties to support financial management

Requirements:

  • Part qualified, AAT qualified, or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Sage, Xero)
  • Proficiency in Excel (including Pivots, VLOOKUPS, and formulas)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Experience within a practice is advantageous
