Job Title: CNC Field Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced CNC Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a CNC Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general servicing, planned maintenance, and breakdown services on CNC machines
  • Conduct fault-finding and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Install and replace ball screws, spindles, and dresser bearings
  • Set up grid shift and backlash parameters
  • Perform annual service work and machinery decommissioning/recommissioning
Requirements:
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system fault-finding
  • Knowledge of Fanuc and Heidenhain control systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
