Role Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Gas and Plumbing Education Specialist to oversee a designated group of learners. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional training, mentoring, and assessment to ensure learners successfully complete their qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (employers, learners, and educational institutions) to facilitate the onboarding process for learners, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Utilize initial assessments to inform the planning and delivery of tailored learning experiences, focusing on essential skills in English, Mathematics, and Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors (KSBs).
  • Develop and implement individualized training plans that align with the requirements of the End-Point Assessment (EPA), adapting to the unique needs of each learner.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners and employers throughout the training journey, ensuring awareness of available resources for career development and well-being.
  • Prepare learners for assessments, including gateways and EPAs, ensuring clarity in the process and timelines outlined in their training plans.
  • Conduct training sessions at various locations as needed, enhancing learners' knowledge, skills, and behaviors, and guiding them through their EPA process.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and/or Gas Engineering is required.
  • Essential qualifications include Domestic Gas – CCN1 and CENWAT.
  • An Assessor's qualification is mandatory, such as A1, TAQA, IQA, or V1.
  • Previous experience as an Assessor, whether in a practical or educational environment, is preferred.
