About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lifting Engineer to join our engineering team at PATH Recruitment Ltd. As a Lifting Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our lifting gear division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out repairs and inspections of lifting gear, including shackles, winches, hoists, and gantries, within a workshop environment.
  • Attend customer sites in the South West, providing technical support and assistance as needed.
  • Complete scheduled repair works, both minor and major, to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Maintain a professional image at all times, representing the company and its values.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as an LEEA inspector, Lifting Engineer, LOLER inspector, or Plant Engineer.
  • Experience in repairing and inspecting a range of lifting equipment.
  • Hold an LEEA qualification (or equivalent) along with an NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanics or engineering.
