The Role of Deputy Store Manager

As a Deputy Store Manager at Mamas & Papas, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales growth in our Farnborough store. You will assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, including managing a team of Supervisors and Sales Assistants, and supporting the development of the store's sales and customer service strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, including managing a team of Supervisors and Sales Assistants
  • Support the development of the store's sales and customer service strategies
  • Manage and maintain store displays and visual merchandising
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and customer feedback
  • Develop and implement plans to improve sales and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a baby or nursery products environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and lead by example
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
