Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Teacher to lead a class of 8 ASD students in a special primary school in the Bristol area. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and marking their own lessons, as well as working closely with the SENCO to provide individualized support to each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a class of 8 ASD students in a full-time capacity
  • Plan and mark own lessons, with adequate PPA time provided
  • Work closely with the SENCO to provide individualized support to each student
  • Be adaptable and flexible around the needs of the pupils
  • Have good experience of working with ASD students
  • Confidently lead TA's in their own personal development
  • Support students on a personal level as well as educational

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with ASD students
  • Ability to lead a class of students in a full-time capacity
  • Good planning and marking skills
  • Ability to work closely with the SENCO
  • Adaptability and flexibility
