We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a postal worker. This role involves working with Royal Mail in Fleet, where you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery of mail and parcels.
Key Responsibilities:- Sort and collect post and parcels at the local delivery office.
- Walk at least 8 miles per day, carrying a bag that can weigh up to 16kg, and delivering letters and parcels with parcels weighing up to 20kg.
- Drive and deliver on foot, pushing/pulling a trolley during some deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points (a clean license is preferred).
- Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weathers.
