About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Implementation Specialist to join our Implementation Team at Jonas Software UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality EPoS solutions to our customers, ensuring timely and efficient preparation and deployment of customer solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure customer systems and ensure seamless integration with our EPoS solutions
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues and minimize delays in the delivery of customer solutions
  • Manage equipment requirements, including ordering and receiving hardware and software assets
  • Implement Just-In-Time (JIT) methodology to optimize stock availability and minimize waste
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery
  • Deliver and receive training as directed to maintain and improve technical skills
  • Complete assigned project-related tasks and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Record and track hardware and software assets, including breakdown of equipment per location
  • Work effectively in a team environment and independently to achieve department SLA targets
  • Support the development of best practices and make recommendations to improve hot-stage and procurement processes
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed, circulated, and dispatched as required
  • Manage warehouse and logistics operations, including booking in and dispatching goods, and adhering to asset tracking procedures
  • Liaise with internal teams to provide project, product, and client-specific knowledge
  • Complete paperwork as directed and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Conceptual understanding of IT technology, networking, and the Internet
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • EPoS preparation experience and knowledge of EPOS systems
  • Experience in a customer service environment, both by telephone and face-to-face
  • Exposure to Prince2 Project Management and ITIL Methodologies
  • Relevant technology certification or university degree
  • Networking Technologies (TCP/IP, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
