Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant Opportunity

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Liverpool to support the appointment of a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant on a 1-week contract, with potential for extension. If you have a strong background in pharmacy services and are available to start immediately, we encourage you to apply with your CV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize dispensary operations to minimize losses and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Handle and dispense medicines accurately, adhering to NHS and private protocols.
  • Comply with legal and professional requirements, as well as company SOPs.
  • Contribute to the delivery of pharmacy services as needed.
  • Provide safe and accurate advice on medicines, including OTC medication, to customers and patients.

Requirements:

  • NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing Assistant qualifications completed through a GPhC accredited route.
  • Experience working in a community pharmacy, preferably with experience using Pharmacy Manager software.

Important Notes:

  • Availability to start immediately or at short notice is essential.
  • A valid right to work in the U.K is required.
  • A basic DBS check is necessary for this role.
