Role Overview: Within the Southwest neonatal network, we manage approximately 1200 transfers annually for infants requiring specialized critical care. As a member of the SoNAR Neonatal Transport Service, you will collaborate with a passionate team of Nurses, Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Junior Doctors, Advanced Paramedics, and Consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your neonatal nursing expertise to ensure safe and high-quality transport services.
  • Develop skills in transport logistics, equipment, and responding to clinical challenges.
  • Participate in both independent and team-based transfers, adapting to the needs of each infant.
  • Work effectively under pressure, supporting colleagues in high-stress situations.

Training and Development: Upon successful completion of a comprehensive induction program, you will engage in a variety of transfer scenarios, enhancing your capabilities in a supportive environment.
