Job Title: Employment Tax Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Tax Director to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As a key member of our Employment Tax service line, you will play a crucial role in shaping our offerings and driving business growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge of Employment Tax areas, including Employment Status/IR35, Salary Sacrifice, Reward Strategy, Tax Governance, and National Minimum Wage. You will be responsible for building relationships across the business and improving awareness of our Employment Tax Reward services.

You will work closely with Strategic Markets to develop go-to-market strategies and coordinate with other team members to work in a collaborative style. Additionally, you will train more junior team members and develop your own internal network to support our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead internal and external contacts
  • Build relationships across the business and improve awareness of our Employment Tax Reward services
  • Work with Strategic Markets to develop go-to-market strategies
  • Coordinate with other team members to work in a collaborative style
  • Train more junior team members
  • Develop your own internal network to support our clients
Requirements
  • Holds a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ATT, CTA) and has relevant experience
  • Demonstrates strong technical knowledge on Employment Tax areas
  • Able to build good internal and external relationships
  • Experience of managing projects and supporting clients over long-term relationships
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and client-handling skills
  • Performance Management experience
  • Likes to learn and develop
  • Keen to build on business development skills and develop business opportunities locally, nationally, and strategically through building good relationships
