Job Title: Senior Data Analyst - Insights and Reporting
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team as a Data Insights and Analytics Lead. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of our insights reporting data and legacy data marts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define requirements for the implementation of management information reports and oversee the process from liaising with IT teams to provision the required data to production.
- Devising and delivering analytical/data driven projects.
- Investigate data, find trends, forecast performance, and provide insightful recommendations.
- Provide insight/set expectations through targeted analysis, forecasting, and development of regular MI.
- Maintaining the legacy data marts.
- Gathering and defining the requirements for data to cater for business/finance business processes.
- Defining requirements for data infrastructure to support reporting needs.
- Creating and delivering regular data for insights reports adhering to governance framework and DevOps culture to ensure that development conforms to accepted guidelines.
Requirements:
- Reporting systems experience, preferably Power BI.
- Coding experience, preferably SAS and SQL.
- Experience of data, reporting & analytics within a Credit Risk or similar function.
- Good understanding in consumer credit, preferably in the sub-prime or online lending sector.
