Job Summary:We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our Airfield Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects related to airfield engineering assets. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the successful delivery of these projects, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement detailed project plans, including task management, resource allocation, and timeline development.
- Demand Management: Reconcile and manage demand for airfield engineering assets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project requirements.
- Capacity Planning: Analyze and optimize capacity utilization to meet project demands, while minimizing risks and costs.
- Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the most effective manufacturing and supply chain strategies for airfield engineering assets.
- Project Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring the successful delivery of airfield engineering assets.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality team to ensure that airfield engineering assets meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and identify areas for improvement.
- Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial principles, including cost management, pricing, and revenue optimization.
- Industry Experience: Bring a minimum of [X] years of experience in a similar role within a high-precision manufacturing environment, preferably with expertise in metallics and composites.
