About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Governance Coordination Lead to join our team at EDF UK. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in overseeing and driving the technical decision-making process, ensuring compliance with HPC project organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the arbitration and prioritization of technical topics, coordinating stakeholders for consensus.
  • Assist teams in preparing presentations for technical committees by organizing logistics, collecting and sharing documents, and providing content guidance.
  • Organize weekly forums, such as the NIAM (Nuclear Island Architect Meeting), to facilitate multi-disciplinary discussions and resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure that decisions are documented and tracked properly and in a timely manner.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to existing working practices and coordinate or lead technical topics based on project requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification, with substantial experience in engineering, leadership, or project management. You should have extensive knowledge of EPR design and engineering processes, along with a solid grasp of UK laws, regulations, and nuclear industry best practices.

You will need to excel in understanding complex technical topics and providing clear summaries, as well as demonstrate experience in cross-functional technical coordination. Proven success in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with various stakeholders and upholding the highest standards of safety and quality is essential.
