Job Title: Software Verification Lead

Company: Manpower UK Ltd

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 12-month Contract

Rate: £75 per hour (Umbrella inside IR35)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Verification Lead to join our team in a critical project. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading unit testing and ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Software Verification: Develop and execute test specifications and scripts using industry-standard tools.
  2. Technical Support: Prepare technical specifications and interfaces for the Electrical Power Distribution System, and provide support for hardware/software integration.
  3. Design Reviews: Collaborate with certification, safety, and quality teams to meet project commitments.
  4. Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives within an agile SCRUM framework.
  5. Programming: Proficient in C/C++ for embedded devices.
  6. Experience: 5+ years in software lifecycle, particularly in safety-critical systems.
Preferred Experience

Developer testing and Verification & Validation (VnV) activities aligned with DO178 B/C standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
