We are seeking a highly skilled Production Automation Specialist to join our team at bet365. As a key member of our Production Database department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing complex automation solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to streamline production database processes, ensuring high-quality code and efficient execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that meet business needs.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for automation solutions, ensuring consistency and quality across the organization.
- Work closely with the automation team to design, develop, and implement new features and tools to support production database operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, ensuring seamless integration of automation solutions into existing workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software development, with a strong background in C#.NET and SQL Server.
- Excellent knowledge of automation tools, including Ansible and Jenkins.
- Commercial experience in web client or server-side development, with a focus on database technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with Scrum or other Agile software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of relational databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Spanner.
