Job Title: Service Support Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Support Specialist to join our team. As a Service Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients. You will work closely with our team to resolve technical issues, provide training and guidance, and ensure that our clients receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a logical and methodical manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure clients have the necessary skills to use our products
- Conduct site visits to provide on-site support and training
Requirements:
- Electrical or Electronic Engineering City & Guilds Level 1&2&3 or HNC/HND or NVQ (Level 2 or above)
- Previous experience of Electrical fault finding (on site or over the phone)
- Good customer service communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Meticulous, accurate and confident (with the ability to close out)
- Computer literate (Word, Excel – basic level as a minimum)
- Fluent Spanish speaker
- Must speak clear fluent English (including technical vocabulary)
Desirable Skills:
- Field service experience (travelling for work within the UK or worldwide)
- Other foreign language (any is desirable in order of preference: Portuguese, German, French, Italian)
- Knowledge of PCBs & PLCs (up-loading of programmes and interrogation of fault record for trouble shooting)
- Experience of an MRP / ERP system (Preferably Dynamics 365)
- Current manual driving licence
- Intermediate Excel capability
