About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a confident role model for new team members, providing guidance and support to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
  • Run conferences and events, from small board meetings to weddings, with a focus on delivering tailored experiences that exceed guest expectations.
  • Liaise with event organizers to ensure all expectations are met and exceeded, providing exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring a high level of service and quality.
  • Manage the department, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring all necessary procedures are in place.
  • Share personal recommendations to promote the hotel's services and events, showcasing your passion for delivering exceptional service and event experiences.
  • Train and develop the team, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Support the management team in delivering consistently high standards, contributing to the success of the hotel and its events.
  • Manage and lead the team in the absence of the Conference and Banqueting Manager, taking charge of events and ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Excellent conversational skills and a teamwork-oriented approach.
  • A positive outlook and outgoing personality, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a hotel environment, preferably in food and beverage.
