We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Graduate Design Engineer to join our Chassis, Bodywork & Wings (CBW) Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the design and development of our Formula 1 cars.

About the Role

As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting the delivery of projects assigned to the CBW Team. You will contribute to Research and Development projects, liaise with other engineers, and support the wider organisation. You will also be responsible for proactively addressing faults, manufacturing queries, and other related departmental tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of projects assigned to the CBW Team.
  • Contribute to Research and Development projects within the department.
  • Liaise with other engineers and support the wider organisation.
  • Proactively address faults, manufacturing queries, and other related departmental tasks.
Requirements
  • Strong background in mechanical, automotive, or aerospace engineering gained through work experience or academic study.
  • Solid understanding of CAD (preferably NX).
  • Modern day composites experience with exposure to design and manufacturing processes (highly desirable).
  • Motorsport experience through internships, Formula Student, or personal projects (desirable).
  • Proficiency in CAD preferably NX.
  • Basic understanding of composites design including material and manufacturing processes.
  • Effective problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
