Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Lead Quantity Surveyor to join a prominent main contractor engaged in a significant highway enhancement initiative.

Project Details: This extensive infrastructure project encompasses improvements to major roads, including upgrades to A & B roads, roundabouts, and junctions. The assignment is expected to span approximately one year, with potential follow-on projects in the vicinity.

Role Responsibilities:

  • As the Lead Quantity Surveyor, you will report directly to the Commercial Lead.
  • You will be an integral part of a commercial team, providing oversight to both Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
  • This role involves managing a live project from inception through to final account.

Contractual Framework: The project operates under the NEC 4 Form of Contract.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A background in main contracting, specifically within Roads and Highways projects.
  • Experience with the NEC4 form of contract is essential.
  • Willingness to commit to a long-term assignment.

Work Environment: This position offers flexible working arrangements, including site-based responsibilities with opportunities for remote work.
