Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Trainer and Assessor to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As an Electrical Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to learners undertaking Electrotechnical Level 3 Apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Assessment: Deliver training and assessment to learners, ensuring that the quality of provision is maintained to the highest standard.
- Learner Support: Provide support for all learners in compliance with our policies and procedures.
- Curriculum Development: Ensure that your knowledge is current to meet the technical and assessment requirements of the awarding organisations.
- Professional Development: Hold and work towards relevant qualifications as required.
- Industry Knowledge: Ensure knowledge is up to date with current legislation and working practices within the trade.
- Learner Motivation: Motivate learners to ensure success.
- Individual Learning Plans: Negotiate Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) with all learners based on individual needs.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Relevant industry qualifications (NVQ 3 or equivalent) plus at least five years 'on the tools'. If you don't already hold a Level 3 testing qualification, JIB Card (Electrician Grade minimum), and an assessor award, we can arrange and fund this training as part of your induction process.
- DBS Check: The successful applicant will need to undergo a check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as a condition of the job offer.
- Work Schedule: This position can either be full-time or part-time, and term time only will be considered.
