Freelance Interpreter Required in Dumfriesshire

We are seeking highly skilled freelance interpreters to join our team at Language Empire. As a leading provider of interpreting and translation services, we offer flexible working arrangements and competitive rates.
About the Role
As a freelance interpreter, you will work with various clients across the UK, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations. Your primary responsibility will be to interpret and translate languages for individuals who require assistance with communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret languages for clients in various settings, including face-to-face, telephone, and video conferencing
- Translate written materials, such as documents and reports
- Work independently, managing your own schedule and workload
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Requirements
- Fluent in English and another language
- Right to work in the UK
- Aged 21 or over
- Formal qualifications in interpreting or translation, such as DPSI, Community Interpreting, or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
